Fabiana Araujo M. S. Kennedy, LLM
Fabiana is a lawyer at WEL Partners. Prior to joining WEL Partners in October 2023, Fabiana articled in-house where she gained extensive experience in insurance defence litigation. Fabiana was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023.
Fabiana holds LLMs in Business Law (2016) and in Canadian Common Law (2021) from Osgoode Hall Law School and obtained her Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
Fabiana received her LLB from the Federal University of Brazil (2006). During her studies, she worked as a law student at the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels, Attorney General's Office and at a renowned international law firm.
After moving to Canada, she worked in business development for the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce and for full-service law firms in Toronto.
Fabiana is fluent in Portuguese.
